by Dr. Jill Nelson


Dr. Jill Nelson is a Professor of Counseling at North Dakota State University and higher education leader. She is a Board-Certified Coach (BCC), consultant, and researcher with expertise in shame and shame resilience, well-being practices, and leadership. Dr. Jill's passion is to inspire people to be brave and to flourish in their personal and professional lives.

She is a "Certified Daring Way" and "Certified Dare to Lead" Facilitator, and facilitates workshops and leadership training using curriculum based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. She enjoys reading fiction, travelling, and spending time with wholehearted people. She is extremely grateful to spend her days inspiring others to be courageous and authentic in all they do.
